What We Can Learn From Easter Eggs

This Easter, How Might You Take After the Iconic Egg?

As many take time today to gather and celebrate, I have a few thoughts on what we can learn from our friend the Easter Egg.

  • You Can Become Many Great Things

    • The egg is a universal symbol for new life and beginnings. We all have a beginning and come into the world with the ability to do incredible things. Each life, each beginning, makes something possible that was impossible before.

    • The egg is also a universal symbol for… Food! You could be scrambled, boiled, fried, baked, poached, over easy, turned into egg salad, or a necessary ingredient for a birthday cake!

    • You could also be, an Easter Egg! Although there are similar colorings, common patterns, and familiar artwork, you may create something that no one anywhere else in the world has made. You could also find a unique hiding spot that no one else in the world thought to look for an egg filled with treasures.

  • Turn Your Story Into Legend

    • No matter where you are at in your life, it is never too late to change your story and decide what will come next. Or, at the very least, decide what you will make of what is to come. What would you like to make a part of your story? Perhaps a mythical rabbit who must race the world round so that Easter eggs can be found!

  • Keep on Rolling - A Crack Can Be a New Beginning

    • We are remarkable when you really think about it. All of the things that need to happen in just the right way for us to draw in our next breath, to type a blog about easter eggs, or to look at and see the ones we love. We often live in fear of what might happen if we get stuck or if we crack. The truth is, we are very good at continuing to roll on. Trust yourself to keep rolling!

    • Let’s say you are rolling along and the “worst” happens, we crack. Does that stop the egg? A crack can be a new beginning to something that we were not capable of before or that we never realized we could become. We are only ever a moment away from becoming what we hope we might be.

How Will You Embody the Egg Today?

Whatever step you take next, I hope it is one filled with light, laughter, and fun!

Take care, be well, and Companion Your Journey!
