I am someone who cares deeply about the work I do and the people I serve. I am incredibly fortunate to be a witness to others, listen as a trusted confidant, and show up with a genuine belief that you truly can thrive in life. Nothing makes me happier than seeing you use your inherent strengths to achieve your dreams. You are deserving of the life you aspire to live. Let’s see how we can get there!

I have experienced some depths and darkness in my life that at times I was uncertain of the way through. It has been a continual effort to show myself care and learn how to Companion My Journey. I have experienced ongoing trials, persistent depression, self-deprecation, and events that have shaped who I have become. While in my deepest depths I continued to tell myself, “If only I could help one person, this would all be worth it.” That mantra became my mission.

From the time I was 12 years old I knew my goal in life was to become a therapist. Prior to college, I started doing what I could to support peers, gave presentations at school about mental health, and tried to learn everything I could about supporting others. I completed my undergrad in two years because I had this driving thought that there are people who need help now and don’t have time to wait. I finished my degree and began working in the state’s largest non-forensic psychiatric hospital while completing my graduate degree. From there I began working in community mental health serving individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, substance use disorders, and experiencing chronic homelessness. As soon as I got my license and board certification, I started working in an outpatient clinic serving our community. It has been a privilege and I have learned something from each person I have been fortunate enough to work with. I look forward to learning from you as well!
